A unique women’s event combining compassion with fashion. It is a joint effort between the American Cancer Society, local, national, and global retailers and fashion designers to provide an opportunity for businesses to fight one of the most dreaded diseases of our time. By sponsoring or being involved in the 21st Annual Couture for Cancer, you will not only directly influence the lives of people and their families currently battling cancer, you will also be impacting future generations. Couture for Cancer is a unique opportunity to make a statement and a stand against cancer.
None of us know when cancer will affect our families, we just know that it will. Roughly 33% of us will receive a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime, that is a very high percentage! Couture for Cancer is something that friends, family and co-workers look forward to each year. Not only is it a worthy cause, but the energy and love for the cancer survivors modeling on the runway show each year is a memory worth going back for. Besides ladies, who doesn’t love a reason to get dressed up and shop? Remember, the more we raise, the more people we can help…So mark your calendars to attend on March 1, 2025. The American Cancer Society provides information and resources to help patients and their loved ones manage through cancer treatment and recovery, and to help with the emotional support they need. They also work to remove barriers that stand between the patient and lifesaving treatment. For many patients with cancer, transportation challenges can create barriers to receive the treatment they need. Many people need daily or weekly treatment, often for several months. Family and friends may help, but they may not always have the time or resources to provide every ride. The American Cancer Society is proud to provide transportation assistance to those in need, by giving free rides to cancer-related medical appointments.
In 2022 alone, the American Cancer Society provided more than 323,000 rides to more than 35,000 patients in need through transportation programs.
